Le Livre d'Argent

by the way since it is increasingly obvious that this god forsaken website is dying, before you inevitably leave, I'd love it if you followed me somewhere else. cohost, twitch, sign up for the new releases email list, whatever, let's stay in touch šŸ’– https://links.loveconquersallgames.com/

because like seriously there is no way anyone is left here in like a year. you can already feel it. it gets quieter here each day as more and more people finally realize "wait, this sucks." god willing I'll be one of them soon

@christinelove ā€¦Are you talking about Mastodon, or is this crossposted from Twitter šŸ˜…?

@Sylvhem sorry lol the crossposter takes ten minutes to update so I gotta delete the ones that don't make sense over here manually

@Sylvhem that said it's hard to imagine still having any kind of presence here if twitter dies. mastodon felt like a really great idea but unfortunately it's just ALWAYS been more dead than even twitter at its worst :(

@christinelove Oh.
Well, Iā€™ve never been a really active Twitter user, but Iā€™ve been on Mastodon for 5 years now and I always thought it super activeā€¦ I wonder if itā€™s because you follow mainly people you already knew from Twitter? Or maybe my perspective is skewed.

@Sylvhem Honestly I'm not even talking about my own feed (although that's dead too for sure, despite my best efforts), I mean that people don't really seem to interact much over here!

@christinelove Strange. I see a lot of artists over on Ā·ART say they have more interactions here than they have on Twitterā€¦
I really wonder what goes into this.

@Sylvhem @christinelove I only used Twitter for associative purpose and never had a personnal account, but as far as I can compare, no matter the number and activity of it's users, Mastodon just can't compete with Twitter's way to put unasked things under your nose, like ā€œhey, this person followed by someone you follow liked a tweet this person published three month ago, maybe you should check it, just in case.ā€

And I personnally think it's for the better, but I understand that, for somebody used to such level of ā€œbut wait, there's moreā€, anything else will look dead.
